Castings |
 Sand
Castings are our specialisation. We supply them to very high standards
in a wide range of cast materials both ferrous and non-ferrous. They are
made using "green" or "hard" sand processes dependant
upon the type of metal to be cast, its design / volume requirements and
the number ordered. See the Materials Table
for the materials used and the maximum weights produced.Whilst we are not mass producers, being a relatively small company, we do make batches of castings as efficiently as possible using modern techniques to compliment long established moulding skills. We can also respond very quickly to your requirements whether for batch or jobbing work (i.e. "one offs", for repairs to broken machinery, vintage cars, steam engines and many other small quantity requirements). We also specialise in prototype and development castings where design / production expertise of a high order is asked for and the time available is minimal
